so, in the restaurant business changes in the staff are pretty common. busboys and dishwashers seem to have a pretty short shelf life for the most part. it seems to be an ever changing cast of characters at times. i'm not very good with names - but faces i will remember till the day i die. and this one face i can't forget no matter how many Makers Marks i throw back!! it was introduced to us as "Fernando" but immediately became known as Frankenberry! he was like a patchwork man - put together with discarded pieces of flesh. he looked like a spry 89 year old. every step looked as if it would be his last. at first we all took it easy on the poor ancient creature - even as we all questioned the sense of hiring such a rickety fossil. that compassion didn't last too long once we got to know him. he was a nasty, temperamental, dishonest, judgemental, old bastard! he became the bane of my existence after i had a couple big blow outs with him. when i couldn't take his evil Nosferatu stare anymore i got him fired. that's right! don't cross me!!
